 A common concern of many schools is what to do with the VC equipment or who to video conference with? Last academic year London schools clocked up over 200,000 video conferences. Many of these were with other schools within London and the UK, some were with schools and academic institutions abroad but a huge number were with video conference content provides. Below is a brief table of some of the VC content providers who all offer curriculum based VC experiences. Most of which are FREE! Nationally we have moved one step forward and the Janet Collaborate service provides a online database of curriculum resources and links to content providers who offer video conferencing. Schools and museums register and you can search the database. This system is also linked with JVCS so to book a VC is just a click away.
