8th February 2010 - Chinese New Year - Video Conference

The London Grid for Learning, working in partnership with Redbridge LA, will be hosting a videoconference for both primary and secondary schools to celebrate the Chinese New Year (Year of the Tiger) live from the Redbridge Teachers’ Centre. Schools do not need Video Conferencing equipment to participate, just their LGfL internet connection. The event will be streamed live with an online forum to allow pupils to interact with the presentations.

29th March 2010 - LGfL Annual ICT Technicians’ Conference

Time – 9am to 4pm
Where – Arsenal Emirates Stadium, Islington
How much - £48+vat – includes lunch, all refreshments and materials
Who should attend – Head of ICT, Network Managers, ICT Coordinators, ICT Technicians
Stadium Tour – available as an option – additional £10+vat charge

17th June 2010 - Inspirational Maths Live – Video Conference ( KS1 – KS4)

Time - 9am to 3pm

This is a video Conference for both primary and secondary schools. Motivate Maths (University of Cambridge) and the Association of Teachers for Mathematics (ATM) in partnership with Waltham Forest LA and LGfL will hosting this live event on June 17th .  If you wish to take part, please fill in the registration form

21st June 2010 –  Inspirational Assessment For Learning in Mathematics CPD -  Video Conference

Time - 3.45 pm to 4.45 pm

For both primary and secondary school teachers.  The Maths Association (MA) in partnership with the NE London Maths Association and LGfL will be hosting a live STAFF INSET from Waltham Forest CLC . If you wish to take part, please fill in the registration form

5th July 2010 - LGfL Annual Secondary Schools Conference

Time – 9am to 4pm
Where – Arsenal Emirates Stadium, Islington

Who should attend – SMT members and subject teachers who wish to enhance learning and attainment through more effective use of ICT and LGfL resources
