Bird Box Activity

There has been a lot of activity in the bird boxes recently. Just in case you were not glued to the live Charlton Manor School stream early on Saturday morning, LGfL has captured the live video and made the footage available as a Windows media stream: mms://media.lgfl.org.uk/files/birdcam/cmp-hatch.wmv
A quick peek at the live stream currently, often shows a busy ‘mum’ feeding a nest full of hungry mouths.

Fern Hill Primary School now has 12 eggs in the nest, and it is fairly clear that we now have at least 5 eggs in Child’s Hill. www.naturecam.lgfl.net

For a special page with a double view of the angles that you could leave running in a window on your class whiteboard, see: http://content.lgfl.org.uk/birds/double.asp

LGfL Helpline
A new number for the general London Grid helpline is now available!

020 82 55 55 55

LGfL will gradually be moving over from the current 08700 63 64 65 number although it will remain available to ease transition for the forseeable future.

This new number is cheaper for mobiles and is also more accessible for those schools that ban 08700 numbers.
